These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the purchase of tickets and attendance at the Machine Can Think Summit (“b”). Please read them carefully before completing your booking.

1.About us 

• Organizer: Polynome Events FZE, a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates, with its registered office at FZH, 260 SRT, Floor 04, SRT, DWTC, Dubai.

• Licence to operate. We are licensed in the UAE to provide event management, under licence number L-2740, issued by Dubai World Trade Centre.

• Event licence: Approved by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT) under reference number EL25-001096-014708, category Business – Corporate Events (Conference) – Conference with mini exhibition – IT/Technology.

• Event venue: Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, Al Saadiyat Island, Alyazya Ballroom.

• Event dates: 26–27 January 2026, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily.

2. Eligibility and attendance

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to purchase a ticket or attend the Event.

• By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that all details provided are accurate and complete.

• Tickets are for individual use only and cannot be resold, transferred, or shared with others.

• All attendees must comply with venue policies, safety regulations, and instructions from Event staff and security.

• The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any participant violating these Terms or engaging in disruptive behavior.
  
  

3. Ticket types and pricing

We offer several ticket categories: General Pass, Pro Pass, VIP Pass, and Student Pass.
Prices are displayed in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams) and exclude 5% VAT, which will be added at checkout.

• Early-Bird Period: Tickets purchased up to 25 November 2025 receive a 20% discount on regular rates.

• Regular Period: Standard pricing applies from 26 November to 25 December 2025.

• Extended Period: From 26 December 2025, prices increase by 20% above the regular rate.

• All prices are subject to availability and may change before purchase confirmation.
  
  

4. Booking and payment

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe using valid debit or credit cards.

• Your booking is confirmed once payment is successfully processed and you receive an on-screen or email confirmation.

• Tickets are issued electronically (digital QR/PDF format). No physical tickets will be printed or mailed.

• Refunds, where applicable, are processed in the original transaction currency, with any bank or processing fees borne by the buyer.

• Prices exclude 5% VAT, which is added at checkout according to UAE tax law.
  
  

5. Cancellations and refunds

Before the Event:

• You may cancel your ticket by emailing info@machinescansee.com at least seven (7) days before the Event start date for a full refund.

• If you cancel less than seven (7) days before the Event, 50% of the ticket price will be retained to cover administrative costs, and the remainder refunded within fourteen (14) days via your original payment method.

After the Event has started:

• Once the Event has commenced, tickets are non-refundable.

Refund process:

• All approved refunds are processed within fourteen (14) days through the original payment channel.

• Refunds will be made in the same currency as the original payment.

  
  

6. Event changes or cancellation

If the Event is cancelled or rescheduled for reasons within our control, you may choose either:

• a full refund, or

• a transfer to a future event of equivalent value.

Refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) days through the original payment method.

If the Event cannot take place due to circumstances beyond our control (such as government restrictions, natural disasters, or technical failures), we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer credit towards a future event.

7. Photography, video, and media consent

By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. These materials may be used by the organizer for promotional, educational, and archival purposes in print and digital media.

8. Liability

We are responsible for any loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure to comply with these Terms.
However, we are not liable for:

• indirect, incidental, or consequential losses,

• loss of business, profits, or opportunity, or

• third-party service disruptions beyond our control.

Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for your ticket.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts, without prejudice to any mandatory rights under applicable UAE consumer protection laws.

10. Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or business changes.
The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your purchase.
