Yann LeCun is a Turing Award laureate, NYU Professor, and one of the founding pioneers of modern deep learning. He introduced convolutional neural networks and contributed to the foundations of many of today’s core AI methods. While serving as Meta’s Chief AI Scientist, he led long-term research in self-supervised learning, autonomous intelligence, and next-generation AI architectures.
